We have 122 people coming to our 30th Class Reunion! It is going to be a great event for all who are attending it! If you missed the deadline and want to see if it is too late to attend it, email Tammy at tduering@comcast.net and we will see if we can accommodate you. We had to give the head count to the Concordville Inn already but may be able to squeeze a few more in.
To those who have already registered and paid for your tickets -- Thank You! -- and, remember you MUST be on the registered and paid list to attend the reunion. There will absolutely be NO TICKETS SOLD AT THE DOOR.
No exceptions!
Visit the REUNION EVENT LIST page to see all the planned reunion weekend activities.
TOP 10 REASONS NOT TO MISS YOUR CLASS REUNION
1. You'll laugh, cry, and reminisce with some of your old friends.
2. It's OK to not remember someone. That's why name tags were invented!
3. Feel better realizing you are not the only one who has been married, divorced, married, divorced and still looking.
4. Rekindle or begin new relationships.
5. Show everyone how sexy bald is!
6. Even if you had some negative experiences in high school, don't fret about it, you'll most likely laugh about it now.
7. Enjoy an evening out without the kids.
8. Use the reunion as an opportunity to diet and shape up.
9. Humor the reunion committee; they usually are a bunch of deluded die hards who think everyone should show up to appreciate their efforts.
10. And finally, studies have shown that those who were initially hesitant about attending their reunions, discover it was the event that they wouldn't have missed!
NO EXCUSES!!! If you are NOT coming to the reunion, you need a good excuse and a note from your Mom. The following reasons have been tried and are UNacceptable:
Excuse #1: I've gained a lot of weight! Rebuttal: Look around!! I doubt any of us could get back into our jeans from high school any more. Excuse #2: I'm a different person than I was in high school. Rebuttal: Lucky for you, we ALL are. Let's face it: we could only have improved. Excuse #3: I don't look as good as I'd like. I (choose one or more) am bald, have wrinkles, saddlebags, grey hair and no one will recognize me.
Rebuttal: Guess what! You won't recognize anyone else, either. Our whole class looks like a "before" photo in a plastic surgery ad (just kidding). Excuse #4: I'm not successful. I'm not (choose one or more) a lawyer, a doctor or rich. Rebuttal: You'll be pleasantly surprised to find how much everyone has matured. We may be plump and wrinkled (see Excuse #3, above) but we're not stupid. Money is not success. (Read the daily quotes on the homepage). You have found success when you are happy doing what you're doing! Excuse #5: I was not in a popular clique in school. Rebuttal: Now that we're older and smarter, those cliques have dissolved just like the superficialities they were based on. The only cliques you'll notice at the reunion will be the sound of your joints as you walk around. Excuse #6: It seems like all the classmates drink alcohol at the reunion. Rebuttal: Not all of us drink - plain and simple. Some of us only have a few drinks at the reunion to relax (cause we're nervous) but if you don't want to drink alcohol there'll be plenty of other drinks available.
The Class of 1980Lions' Den
Welcome! Come on in...
Take a look at our new Class of '80 website launched September 2009. This is our very own private, secure, password-protected website with FREE access for all class members and invited guests. No ads, no spam, no pop-ups, no fees. No kidding!
You may have noticed the majority of pages are locked to maintain and protect everyone's privacy. In order to gain access to all the password-protected pages, you will need to register. Simply go to the Classmate Profiles tab and click on your name, then follow the prompts. You will then have full access to all the website pages and can catch up or reconnect with old friends as they too join and participate in this site.
Wantto be a guest member? You may not have graduated with us at Penncrest, but if you went to school with us anytime and would like to join, simply click here and tell us your association with our class and ask for your name to be added.
This website will be a work-in-progress, with your participation, as we locate our classmates in preparation for our upcoming 30th year reunion in 2010. This is now a permanent place for our class to keep in touch. Read up on what your classmates have been up to. Take a trip down memory lane with old photos from school days past and also from our past reunions. Be sure to leave your thoughts on the Message Forum. We'd love to hear your comments or suggestions for the site and to know what you are doing these days. Almost thirty years after graduating Penncrest High School, we're certainly scattered far and wide, but we can all get reaquainted again right here!
Please refer to the FAQ/Private Policy page to answer any questions you may have about how this webstie works.
Even if you haven't attended a reunion, or kept in touch at all since graduation, we encourage you to update your profile so that your name will be removed from the Missing Classmates page. We need your photos, updates and memories to enhance this site as well as to make certain it represents ALL of the members from our class.
If you know a classmate's email and they haven't yet registered, click on the Missing Classmates tab, find their name and invite them to the website.
Help us build this site by digging out your old photos. We're looking for any additional random photos taken during the Springton Lake, Indian Lane, Penncrest days or from past reunions. We want to see them! Share them here on the site. Note: only the website administrator can post photos onto those appropriate pages, so click the Contact Us tab to ask how.
Don't forget to bookmark this page, so you can easily return to it.

Like this site, do yah? Want it to keep going? Want to help, but don't know how? Here's how and it won't cost you a red cent.
Flesh out your profile. Answer all the questions. People like to read stuff about you. When it comes time for a reunion they will seek you out and actually have something to talk to about. And you'll have something to say, too!
Come to an event if you are in town. It's not work, not dress up, not a hassle- just a night out. You don't have to drink, you don't have to stay out all night. You're a grown up- you can do anything you want or don't want. Just come out for some laughs and make some new "old" friends.
Dig out some old photos and post them to your profile. You might make someone's day with a cherished moment they may have long forgotten. Or hair style. Or plaid pants.
Post some new photos. Share what you and your family look like. We have all grown older and wider... I mean wiser. It's ok that you don't look 18. Really.
USE THE MESSAGE FORUM! The more active the site is - the more active the site will be. It's a zen thing. I chat therefore I am. Newbies to the site will get the idea and join in. Doesn't have to be a novel. Just a quick heads up, high five, nod, quip or quote will keep the Forum fun and interesting.
Do you have suggestions to make it better? Don't complain, don't stay away, speak up! Ideas are all welcome.
